Africa Regional Communications Advisor – Terre des Hommes Netherlands

The stories we tell matter. Storytelling is more than just sharing experiences—it’s about amplifying the voices of those who are often unheard, shedding light on exploitation, and inspiring action that leads to real, lasting change.

Grace and her work at Terre des Hommes

Grace leads the development and execution of impactful communication strategies and plans across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Madagascar.

As the Africa Regional Communications Advisor, she leverages her expertise to enhance the visibility of Terre des Hommes Netherlands’ work in the region while strengthening the organization’s positioning as an expert in stopping child exploitation. From storytelling and branding to visibility, campaign management, and media relations, Grace plays a pivotal role in executing communication plans that drive awareness and inspire action.

I Find Hope in Every Story

I find great joy in interacting with and interviewing children in the field. Throughout my many field visits, I have listened to deeply emotional stories of children who have experienced exploitation and the lasting impact it has had on their lives. But alongside these heartbreaking stories, I have also heard their dreams—big, bold aspirations for the future. Despite everything, they still have hope. And so should we.

In the children´s eyes, I always see light. Through our projects and the stories we tell, we are making a difference—one step at a time. Our work matters. We are paving the way for a future where every child can enjoy their childhood and flourish in a world free from exploitation.
