Alliances

The way we lead, learn from and leverage the strengths of our alliances enables us to have a greater impact on governments and international bodies. Our network engagement broadens the expertise we can use to achieve strong advocacy results and improve the lives of children.

Alliances

  • Down to Zero

    The Down to Zero Alliance is committed to protecting children and preventing sexual exploitation in twelve countries in Asia and Latin America. Terre des Hommes (leader), Child Rights Coalition Asia (CRC Asia), Conexión, Defence for Children – ECPAT, Free A Girl and Plan International work together with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • She Leads

    She Leads is a program for and by girls and young women in nine countries in Africa and the Middle East. The aim is to involve girls and young women more in decision-making and policy on equal rights for men and women.

    Within She Leads, Plan International, Defence for Children – ECPAT, African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) and Terre des Hommes work together in a strategic partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • Giro555

    An exceptional disaster affects us all. When that happens, the 10 collaborating aid organizations, including Terre des Hommes, join forces under the name Giro555.

  • Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA)

    Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA) is a coalition of 14 Dutch aid organizations in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    DRA’s structure enables Terre des Hommes and the other organizations to respond to major international crises in a timely and effective manner.

  • Joining Forces

    ChildFund Alliance, Plan International, Save the Children International, SOS Children’s Villages International, Terre des Hommes International Federation and World Vision International joined forces.

    We aim to use our collective power to accelerate change to secure children’s rights.

  • Children’s Rights Collective

    The Children’s Rights Collective consists of children’s rights organizations Defence for Children, the National Youth Council, Kinderpostzegels, Save the Children and Terre des Hommes.

    Together we have the mission to ensure that the rights of children in the Netherlands are guaranteed.
