She Leads Mid-Term Review (2023)

The She Leads Mid-Term Review is an assessment of the progress of She Leads as we are halfway our 5-year programme. It contains a reflection on what has worked and what can be done better. This key source of evidence will inform implementation in the remaining years of the programme.

The review process was a truly collective work that included data collection and analysis by local consultants, the global She Leads desk, and by girls and young women (GYW) from the She Leads programme and from the Global Board.

Despite challenging contexts, in the past 2.5 years, She Leads made significant achievements:

• Together we have influenced 177 by-laws, 36 national laws and policies, and 32 international agreements.
• We have engaged 349 youth groups with a total of 9,000 girls and young women across all countries.

The report contains 11 key recommendations based on evidence (refer to page 9-11 in the report).
